21 January 2013 Amazing sweet and sour The biggest chinese meal ever, a dozen huge pieces of battered pork, loads of vegetables, gallons of bright red sauce and a massive plate-full of egg fried rice. Wonderful. Guess where, here in a small village in Spanish Tenerife. Amazing. Hot and sunny here, the wind has dropped today to a pleasant breeze, perfect this morning.

Had Jo, Philip and Faye with Leon, Harry and Grace and Jill & Gary at Rivendell for Boxing day. It was a present opening maelstrom with paper, presents and children flying everywhere. I think there is a certain age range when Christmas is a magical and amazing time and I think I have reached it.
